No. Kognition is a software product that can be installed on your own server or run in the cloud.

Can Kognition recommend hardware partners to help convert my building into a smart building?
Yes. Kognition can recommend specific manufacturers and models of surveillance cameras, access control systems, and IoT sensors as needed.
Does Kognition have an open systems architecture?
Yes. The entire Kognition software stack is run on Linux with Docker and Kubernetes, and Kognition offers an open API for integration. All data and intelligence stored in Kognition's database can be shared with downstream systems.
