PREMIER COMPUTER SCIENTIST JOINS KOGNITION TEAM

Kognition is pleased to announce it has successfully recruited world class technology and security expert, Jim Carroll, to enrich its senior leadership team. Jim Carroll has been appointed Kognition’s Chief Technology Officer and in that capacity will be part of the intellectual and operational side of the business. Carroll is a skilled computer scientist in highly scalable machine learning platforms. He brings two decades of cutting-edge experience in the technology and software arenas. Previously, Jim was chief technologist at ColdLight Solutions, and chief software architect at traffic.com which was later acquired by Nokia. Jim’s team created and built Nokia’s vehicle traffic system — one of the first large scale streaming frameworks.
